Having unhappy employees can lead to a bad reputation too. For one, no one wants to spend money at a business where it’s apparent an employee doesn’t want to be there. The apparent look on the employee’s face could soar the customer’s shopping/dining experience.

Because of this it’s important to ensure happy employees and customers. With employees, incentive programs should be offered. Also, the manager/owner should talk with the employee to find solutions in making working there more positive for them. And with customers, it’s important to pay more attention to customers so if an unhappy customer is immediately noticed, the manager/owner can resolve the problem as soon as possible, or at least before the customer leaves the business. So rather it’s hearing a negative review of the food if at a restaurant, or the customer dealing with a crying child, for instance, the manager/owner can take measures as soon as possible in making the customer’s experience as pleasant as possible. Another plate of food along with a discount would help, and a coloring book with colors can be given to the child to ease the crying.

These type of tips can be helpful with online reviews as well. Upon observation, responding immediately in making things better would resolve some negative issues. Also, businesses can check their online reputations on a software like to respond accordingly with any bad reviews. D.A. George Gascón Defends Himself Against Accusations

When you make waves and become popular, people take notice and those who have something to lose tend to fight back by attacking the people in charge. That is what is happening to District Attorney George Gascón as he testifies against the police union in San Francisco, alleging that they made it impossible for the police chief or any other official to effectively institute reform. That assertion brought a list of disparaging comments about the character of Gascón that are purely politically motivated.

These allegations are being made by a former president of the Police Officers Association, Gary Delagnes. He has come out and stated that at a private dinner a few years ago, Gascón made remarks that were both homophobic and racial in nature. Clearly these are being made at this time to muddy the waters and discredit some legitimate concerns about the actions and behaviors of the POA of San Francisco.

It is alleged that as then Police Chief of San Francisco, Gascón expressed his lack of concern for police department diversity while drinking at a dinner with a few select city leaders a few years back. Delagnes stated that he was at this dinner and offended by the comments that also were fueled by racially disparaging comments as well. However it is unclear why these allegations were never revealed until years later.

Delagnes also seems to back up the professionalism of Gascón in other parts of the statement. He was clear that there were many conversations between the two over the years and it seemed that Gascón had a real interest in making the police force the best it could be. There were no real problems stated or discussed about the leadership of the Police Officer’s Association. It was stated that he supported them in almost all ways. Their conversations were depicted as no holds barred and getting right down to the issues at hand. It was also stated by Delagnes that Gascón could not have been fairer in his treatment of the leaders of the association and the police officers who were a part of it.
