Twitter Loses It After Bachelor Arie Dumps Woman He Proposed To For Runner-Up

The Twitter universe went “cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs” after the bizarre “Bachelor” finale Monday night on ABC.

There were a lot of WTF moments as fans of the popular television show poured their vitriol over Arie Luyendyk when he dumped the brunette he proposed to for the runner-up on the reality series. According to Huffington Post, ABC aired the finale with Arie, 36, changing his mind about Becca Kufrin and then, breaking up with her. He is now seeing runner-up contestant, blonde Lauren Burnham.

TV viewers went ballistic, and some of the former contestants let Arie have a piece of their mind, including Bekah Martinez. The youngest contestant on this season’s show at 22 claimed that Arie was reaching out to her privately after the “Bachelor” filming had wrapped. He dumped Martinez on the program earlier while in Italy after a two-on-one date.

Martinez let it rip on social media, calling Arie Luyendyck the biggest “f—-in’ tool” around. Her message was “hearted” by 18,000 in the Twitter universe and retweeted a couple of thousand times on social media.

Meantime, Arie doesn’t tweet much about the recent Bachelor happenings. Instead, he tweets all about his profession. He is an Indy Lights Winner, Indy 500 competitor and X-Games medalist. He boasts more than 213,000 followers on Twitter. He has not posted a tweet since March 3, 2018, and that’s a probably smart move on his part. Lying way below the radar is the best thing he could do for now because something is going to hit the fan soon. Watch out, folks.

The beautiful dumped contestant Becca has started reaching out on Twitter, telling fans that “deep down” she had a feeling that the ending might not be a good one.

Bachelor nation isn’t saying goodbye yet. Oh, no; there is more Tuesday evening, March 6, on ABC. The live and shocking two-hour conclusion to Arie’s love story continues to unfold. As disgusted as Arie fans have become, folks are still promising to be glued to their couches to see the trainwreck ensue.

“The Bachelor: After the Final Rose” will air from 8 to 10 PM. Host Chris Harrison will chat with Arie, Becca and Lauren together in front of a studio audience. Some would call this one “must-see TV.”

In addition, TV viewers will learn the identity of the next new Bachelorette on Tuesday evening.
