The Actors Of Black Panther Wow Premier Audiences

Regarded as one of the most anticipated films of the year thus far, Black Panther has the initial audience raving about everything from costumes and music to the performances by a great group of actors. Black Panther’s villain (Erik Killmonger) performed by Michael B. Jordan, played the role with such realness that audiences were conflicted about his character in a very real way. Oh course reprising his role as T’Challa, the king of Wakanda is Chadwick Boseman, who made his cinematic debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Of course, most of the positive talk is reserved for the ladies of the Wakanda universe. Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira and Letitia Wright have been stealing scenes as strong, smart, independent women in the movie. Each woman seen as a leader and fighter in their own way. Nyong’o and Gurira play characters who are elite warriors, sworn to protect the king. Letitia Wright especially, who plays ‘Shuri’, the teenage sister of T’Challa, is a brilliant mind who designs the security systems for Wakanda. Rumored to be smarter than Tony Stark. The Marvel cinematic universe has been long overdue with providing such strong representation of strong, black women role models. For Marvel, this has been the most heartfelt movie in terms of dealing with identity and how that defines each person.

Black Panther looks to be the best movie so far this year, in large part to the actors who play such special characters. To read more about the movie and actors, click here.
