As a writer Ted needs to make his stories compelling and utilize his real life experiences to draw conclusions. His best writing takes place in the early morning and not being interrupted is crucial for him. He ends work at 5pm, when most people end their work days. As a youth he worked some not fun jobs back in the day. Ted Bauman worked minimum wage jobs as a busboy, as gas stations, at Burger King, and at McDonalds. Although these jobs were very hard work and often degrading, he learned a lot of important lessons from them like what it takes for most people to make a living.
