Dr. Richard Shinto, The Exemplary Doctor and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Richard Shinto, a B.S graduate from the University of California at Irvine and a degree in medicine. He got this from The State University of New York, Stony Brook, has over 20 years of the clinical practice and operational medicine in managed care. He has written a number health related articles and clinical medicine.

Dr. Shinto, who received his MBA from the University of Redlands started his career by going into an internship at the pulmonary unit in southern California. It made him smart in pulmonary care and its medical attention. He moved on to serve as the Corporate Vice President of Medical Administration for MedPartners from 1996-1997 where he honed his skills in the administrative duties as well as the medical field.

He proceeded on to Cal Optima Health Plan in Orange County, California. He served as the Chief Medical Officer during his tenure before his next move to NAMM. Dr. Shinto was the Chief Medical Officer of North American Medical Management (NAMM) California before being named the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer for Medical Pathways Management Company.

His services were called upon in Aveta Inc. from 2008 where he was the Chief Executive Officer from 2008 until its auctioning in 2012. Dr. Shinto finally settled at Innovacare Inc. where he took the post of President and Chief Executive Officer to date.
Dr. Shinto has received some honors and awards for his exemplary service. They included the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year for the state of New Jersey and got recognized as the top 25 minority health care executive in modern health care. The honor awarded to exemplary managers who exhibit extraordinary brilliance and insurmountable success in their areas of operation. The promising managers are gauged based on sectors such as creativity, commitments towards the people they serve and the companies that they work for as well as the communities where they work.
July 2016 was a month of change for InnovaCare Inc. Three executives were added to the firm. Jonathan Meyers was appointed the Chief Actuary officer. Meyers, whose experience in actuarial services was wide was going to streamline the Actuarial department according to Dr.Shinto.

Another entrant was Penelope Kokkinides who was joining the company as the Chief Administrative Officer. Dr. Shinto saw in him a capable leader who would manage the programs and healthcare processes with the aim of enhancing efficacy and infrastructure.
Mike Sortino, the third entrant, became the new Chief Accounting Officer of InnovaCare Inc. His previous experience included Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd as the controller of the U.S Branch. There was a high expectation from Dr. Shinto that the new Chief accountant would streamline financial issues and operations.

InnovaCare Inc. acquired the Medicare contracts of First Medical Health Plans through its subsidiary MMM Healthcare, LLC. Dr. Shinto, the president of InnovaCare, hailed this move as one that provided an awesome opportunity to increase the number of beneficiaries and improve the quality of health care through medical management infrastructure.

InnovaCare Inc. has also joined hands with Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network (LAN).The public-private partnership is intended to push the U.S health system to provide quality service through the accurate payment models. The intention is to reorganize health care payment models to suit the needs of the clients.
