Harry Styles Sings “Two Ghosts” on the Late Late Show

Pop and rock superstar singer Harry Styles performed the song “Two Ghosts” against the backdrop of London on Thursday, June 8. This was part of his appearance on the Late Late Show. Late-night host James Corden had taken his American-based show to London for three consecutive nights on June 6, 7 and 8.

The stunning performance took place outdoors on the roof of Central Hall Westminster just as it was getting dark. Dramatic camera angles showcased Styles, accompanying his singing with guitar, as well as his band members. When the camera panned out, a spectacular view of downtown London, including Westminster Abbey and Big Ben, was in clear view.

Styles, 23, rose to fame in recent years as part of One Direction and in May released his debut solo album “Harry Styles.” The song “Two Ghosts” provides a unique ballad sound with artful lyrics that many listeners believe are about Styles’ former flame Taylor Swift. Some of the touching lyrics include “We’re just two ghosts swimming in a glass half empty” and “Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat.”

The heartthrob English singer also appeared on the Late Late Show for a full week in May while it was in its home location of Los Angeles, California. With the release of his self-titled debut solo album, Styles has been expanding his fan base from younger listeners, many of them female, to fans of rock and alternative sounds.

Styles is set to tour the world starting in September, and this week he announced a massive arena tour throughout the world for spring and summer 2018. This comes as fans of the massively popular musician and songwriter clamor to get tickets to his sold-out shows.
